The City of Kenmore recognizes the fight for equality and dignity for all individuals under the law continues, and reaffirms its commitment to being a safe, inclusive and welcoming city for all people. This year, the Progress Pride Flag will fly high for the month of June at City Hall (by Artist Daniel Quasar), which incorporates the Transgender Pride Flag and includes black and brown stripes to represent marginalized LGBTQIA+ communities of color, community members lost to HIV/AIDS, and those living with AIDS.
