Human Services Advisory Committee Application Open

Application Closes October 21

The Human Services Advisory Committee will advise the Housing and Human Services Manager and City Manager concerning human services strategic planning and grant funding recommendations. The advisory committee is a term-limited group composed of 7-10 people who reside, own a business, work, or are a student in Kenmore. At least one committee member will be under the age of 20.

Housing and Human Services History 

On Monday, February 13, 2023, the Kenmore City Council approved a plan to address growing Housing and Human Services needs in Kenmore. The plan includes a Housing & Human Services Manager position to help Kenmore residents in need and develop key community partnerships. in May 2023, the City of Kenmore hired a new Housing and Human Services Manager, Tambi Cork, tcork@kenmorewa.gov, to oversee affordable housing and human services planning and projects, including a human services needs assessment to lay the groundwork for how the City serves community members in need.
