Our striking and innovative City Hall is one of Kenmore's first projects developed under the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification standards, along with Bastyr University's Student Village project. City Hall sets the bar for the future development of the city's downtown and reflects the community's interest in sustainable development. Kenmore City Hall received LEED Gold Certification.

The City Hall facility, opened in May 2010, includes Council Chambers, community meeting room, city administration offices and space within the building for future expansion. The building is an “essential facility” designed to a higher seismic performance than standard buildings, and includes emergency power generation. Additionally, the Council Chambers and Community Meeting Room serve as a resource to the residents of Kenmore for community and club events.

From I-5 Southbound

Take WA-104 E via Exit 177 toward Lake Forest Park. Turn left onto NE 205th St/WA-104 E. Continue to follow WA-104 E for 3 miles. Turn left onto Bothell Way NE/WA-522. Continue on WA-522 for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto 68th Ave NE, go one block, and City Hall is on the right.

From I-5 Northbound

Take WA-523/NE 145th Street via Exit 175. Turn slight left onto 5th Ave NE. Turn right onto NE 145th St/WA-523. Turn left onto WA-522. Continue on WA-522 for 3 miles. Turn left onto 68th Ave NE, go one block, and City Hall is on the right.

From I-405 Southbound

Take the WA-522 W via Exit 23B toward Bothell. Continue on WA-522 for about 4 miles. Turn right onto 68th Ave NE, go one block and City Hall is on the right.

From I-405 Northbound

Take the WA-522 W via Exit 23 toward Seattle. Continue on WA-522 for about 4 miles. Turn right onto 68th Ave NE, go one block and City Hall is on the right.
