FSP Background information:

The City of Kenmore is facing an upcoming structural deficit in its operating budget and is revising the Financial Sustainability Plan (FSP) that was adopted in 2020.

Due to the state-imposed 1% limit on property tax growth, high inflation, relatively flat growth in other revenues, unfunded state and federal mandates, and other factors, the City’s operating revenues are not keeping pace with the cost of doing business.

The City has convened an FSP Task Force to assist with this work, consisting of 9 community members and city staff. Join the FSP Task Force at the Town Hall meeting on April 3 to learn more and provide input for future budget discussions and planning.
