The Kenmore Senior Center is a branch of the Northshore Senior Center.

Northshore Senior Center locations include Bothell, Kenmore and Mill Creek, offering health clinics, a variety of art, craft, and learning classes, social clubs and games, a computer lab, special events, wellness projects, food access programs, social and mental health services and trips galore.

The Kenmore Senior Center offers a printed, paper calendar of regularly scheduled activities, classes, and services, including special events, trips, support groups and general announcements. It is available for free to pick up at the Kenmore Senior Center during open hours.

Kenmore Classes and Activities Calendar

Programs & Events at Kenmore Senior Center

Call 425-489-0707, Kenmore Senior Center, for info, to sign up, or to receive a full list of our new and ongoing classes/activities.

Our programs are open to all adults aged 18 and up! Located in beautiful Rhododendron Park in Kenmore.

Visit the Kenmore Senior Center during open hours and pick up a little Pocket Hug for yourself, fabrics vary, size about 2.5 inches. Pocket Hugs are volunteer made and approved for a smile, nice thought and good mental health.

Mobile Food Pantry and Food Access Programs

Hopelink Mobile Food Market- 1st & 3rd Tuesdays

The Hopelink Mobile Food Market is free, open to all ages on the 1st/3rd Tuesday of every month, from 1-2pm. You can drive through the parking lot and pick up free groceries, produce and seasonal items. To enroll in the Hopelink Food Program, please complete the online form or call any Hopelink Center for translation services or support. The Mobile Market will not distribute food on the following dates: Dec. 25th- Jan. 1st.

Community Food Pantry - 2nd & 4th Wednesdays

The Kenmore Senior Center Community Food Pantry happens on the 2nd/4th Wednesday of every month, from 12:30-2:30. Free and open to all ages, no enrollment required.

Food Pantry Donations Accepted Year Round

Non-perishable foods are always welcome. Give us a call at 425.489.0707 to arrange a drop off time.

Picnic Shelter Reservations

The picnic shelter at Rhododendron Park is available for rental through the Kenmore Senior Center. Spring and Summer reservations often get booked far in advance.

The shelter has a large covered area with picnic tables, 2 BBQ grills, a water fountain/spigot, electrical outlet, and a well-maintained public restroom. There are 2 playgrounds, one for toddlers and another for older children. It’s a beautiful space to spend the day!

The Shelter is available for rental use when not being used for City-sponsored or co-sponsored activities. Reservations are accepted for the Shelter only. The rest of Rhododendron Park and its amenities remains open to the general public during the reservation period.

Please contact the Kenmore Senior Center at (425) 489-0707 to check availability and make a reservation. A completed application is required. Maximum capacity is 50 persons.

Rhododendron Park Picnic Shelter Reservation Application

Rental periods include half day options (10:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:30 pm to dusk) or a full day option (10:00 am to dusk).

Kenmore Residents: $75 for half day reservation; $150 for all day.

Non-Residents: $100 for half day reservation; $200 for all day.
